A small time club owner takes his wife out for a birthday night on the town on a London bus. Accompanied by a retinue of friends, would-he escorts, potential johns, beautiful women, a belly dancer, a Hindu guru and ersatz modern artists, this motley group watches their lives go up in smoke due to the economic downturn.
