Pakal Gomez, an ex-border patrol officer falsely accused of killing two illegal immigrants, begins to suffer seizures and is transferred to a medical halfway house. He escapes with a five hour window on his ankle bracelet. He and a group radicalized in prison hurry to commit an act of terrorism. Old friends try to find them before it's too late. A bomb is planted.

Nerves fray and law enforcement is closing in. Domestic terrorism from the perspective of everyday Americans drawn to action.
